Beau’s story begins in Honey Grove, where he roamed the streets, searching for scraps and shelter. Life was tough for this little pup and for at least 3 days, Beau followed a local resident to and from a local store, clearly looking for a human to call his own. He followed faithfully, without need for training or even encouragement. Unfortunately, his first choice of human was not exactly in a position to care for him completely. When this became apparent to Beau, he ventured nearby to other, less kind humans.

Day One: Beau wastes no time making himself at home.

One fateful day, Beau found himself in a dangerous situation as a frustrated man was chasing him away, swatting at him with a broom and yelling at him to go away. It was a terrifying moment for Beau, who yelped out in fear as he only wanted to find safety and kindness. Thankfully, a compassionate person stepped in. This brave individual approached the man, firmly demanding that he stop.

In that crucial moment, a flicker of hope sparked in Beau. He instinctively followed the kind voice that beckoned him away from danger.
